What are 'notes' and how do they work?

You can make a note for any user you see on TiM; the notes are only visible to you!

What are 'tags' and why would I use them?

Tags are similar to notes in that only you are able to see what you have 'tagged' people. Mainly, it is a way for you to organize your contacts. For example, I would 'tag' a few users as 'CEOs' so that I can find them easily later.
